Greetings From Zimbabwe,

The team is here and doing well.  We visit our mission site today and begin really digging in tomorrow.  We have met Maria and Bill Humbane, founders of Ishe Anesu, and await instruction at our first visit of the mission.  We are all well, have shared some beautiful God stuff with one another so far and look forward to sharing beautiful God stuff with the folks we meet at the mission.  We miss you and love you and appreciate your prayers!  We will try to check back in a few days.  This photo is of our first morning devotions at the Cresta Lodge in Harare.  We are now staying at the Homestead Guesthouse in Mutare.

Dee Schond: I led the morning devotions today.  I am so proud of myself because I continue to step out of my comfort zone.  In fact, that is what my devotion was all about - stepping out of the comfort zone and how God can really work on us when we are there.

Jen Brown: It is an amazing experience that brings fear through your veins at times.  With Gods watchfull eye looking over us we are doing well.  We are anxious to begin our work and our thankful for all those back home praying for us.  I can't wait to share when I return.

Sharity Reese: Katie is getting a kick out of some of the differences here such as the fact that power lines only run on one side of the street, and there haven't been any thunderstorms like at home.  She is feeling deep empathy for the children here and growing in her faith.

Hi All!

Our hearts are falling in love with this place!  Yesterday we shared a VBS (Vacation Bible School) with over 500 kids.  We are growing so very close as a team.  We are seeing God at every turn!  Such beauty.  Yesterday I did what I came here to do.  I sat with a group of children clamoring close to me and told them that I love them.  To which they responded, Yes, thank you.  I feel like I can't do that enough.  Deb and Dee are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!  They are leading, connecting, totally in their element.  It is amazing to watch Katie in ministry.  Please pass on...

Blessings,

Sharity Reese

Hi Elyse,

All is well.  We are unable to send pictures.  We had over 1200 children at the last day of VBS!!!!  The worship service was unbelievable!  Can't wait to share photos and stories.  Love you all.  Keep praying.
